Style Sourcing helped MAD MAN brand for man’s gifts wholesaling and sourcing since 2017, the first date it was created. We took charge of their whole supply chain in China.
Before the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, Mad Man’s buying team visited China twice a year for new product selection. We guided them to visit the local wholesale market in Yiwu, Guangzhou, and also arranged the factories visits in Ningbo, Shaoxing, Hangzhou.
Before the buying trip, we communicated with buying team in advance, for what direction this time they wanted to do, or what ideas or concepts they were in mind want to carry out.
Then we did the market search and selected some matching factories for them, and arranged the visiting itinerary. We made a detailed schedule according to the team’s sourcing categories and stay time. Confirmed with them before their visit.
During the buying trip, we took note of all the products information, such as price, size, weight, material, packing, MOQ, also factory contact…
Collated all the data into a comprehensive quotation sheet for buying team. They did the final selection on the sheet to decide which item will proceed which will need to be canceled after finishing the trip.
After the selection, we placed the orders to all the suppliers. Requested the pre-production samples. In addition to follow-up the productions with various factories, we also took care of the overseas marketing materials.
Worked with Yiwu local photography agency for the new products shooting, also model shooting, and video. We fully communicated with the overseas side and photography studio to ensure the effects meet all their requirements.
Style Sourcing worked as hard as we can to share the burden for the customer to the greatest extent and save their cost.
When products have been finished, since the products came from dozens of suppliers, from a few cartons to a dozen cartons. We collected the goods to our warehouse for inspection.
Based on the customer’s requests, we did AQL 2.5 random inspection, some of the products conducted the full inspection.
We made inspection reports for all the products for customers to check. With the customer’s approval, we arranged the container booking and shipment.
As for defectives that have been found during the inspection process, they were returned to the factory for rework. After passing the second inspection, the goods will be shipped out.
Mad Man team are very satisfied with our effort and kept cooperated with us until today.
Because of the Covid-19 epdamic, US team canot visit to China for product sourcing in person. But it does not affect the release of new products. Style Sourcing collected the new designs from local wholesale market, direct factories and also online channels for buying team to choose from.
